About
I went to law school because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and protect my own family. I was naturally drawn to the practice of estate planning because of its positive nature and ability to impact people. Estate planning is positive?! Absolutely. When most people think of estate planning, they’re thinking that it’s only for the rich or the elderly. What they don’t realize is that estate planning is really about leaving a legacy – no matter how big or small – and ensuring that your loved ones are taken care of should you pass unexpectedly. Protecting families with children is especially important to me. My studies revealed a gap, a great chasm if you will, between traditional estate planning and what families really need. This gap could land your children in foster care, put a stranger in charge of their inheritance (who will take fees for that service), and leave your estate vulnerable to predators even if you have a will in place. I have made it my mission to obliterate this gap for my clients—guarantee their children stay in the care of people they know and trust, ensure funds are available for the immediate care of their children, and safeguard their values, beliefs, stories, and experiences! If you want someone that can act as a guardian of your legacy, who deeply understands estate law and can be your trusted advisor in the process of protecting your family, I encourage you to contact me!
