As a professional in the financial services business, I approached Mr. Pohlman to do some of my personal Will/Estate work. This was a poor decision on my part. Mr. Pohlman would not return phone calls or e-mails until weeks afterward only to offer excuses. I finally terminated my association with him. I would not recommend him to any of my clients.

I have received legal assistance from Jay in the past which was successful however when it came to a matrimonial/divorce matter only half of the work was completed. Half the work completed and Jay WAS PAID IN FULL. This was my mistake because I trusted him and stuck with him in hopes that he would get his act together. What is more disappointing is that when I called and emailed very frequently, I did not even get a call back. I received lame excuses as to why he was busy and it got very, very old. Fast forward to today - I am left seeking other counsel on a matter that could have been settled 2 years ago. I do not recommend this lawyer for your legal matters.

Referred this man to my mother because he was my former employers attorney. They talked highly of him so I thought it would be the way to go. HORRID MISTAKE. He met with her the first initial meeting, charged her half the total fee and long story short stung her a long with empty promises and 2 years later has still to do a damn thing. He is ignored her letters, ignored her phone messages, and sadly took money from her she didn't even have in the first place. Please do not hire this man my mom and I are good people this man took advantage if us and basically was paid for services that were never rendered. Sad someone can get away with this with no consequence. Do yourself, your bank account, and the stress and do not trust this man in handling your legal issues.
