I hired Jason after about 6 months into my divorce - my ex was walking all over me and abusing the system to harass me. My previous lawyer was skillful as well, but he just wasn’t equipped to handle my very difficult ex-husband. His team is extremely skillful, detail oriented, and I trust them to give me solid and honest legal advice. His associate attorney, George Peniche, is amazing as well. Jason Schwartz was the senior partner and overall legal strategist of my case. I can't say enough good about Jason. He took on the most contentious issue of my case--child custody--and knew exactly what to do. He kept the case out of court and successfully negotiated 40% custody for me and a probable shift to 50% custody in 2019. We hired Jason for an out of district family matter. He committed to handle the litigation and we hired him. 3 days before, he notifies us he will be sending his research atty in his place and he cannot make the court date-- and it was a debacle. he and his partners didn't fight for our position- they simply attempted to mediate to resolution.. with the amount of $$ spent, we are still at square 1 with this case- I have hired another attorney

I Had a terrible experience. The front office staff was very professional but Mr. Schwartz was not, after paying for a consultation and giving the requested retainer his continued to demand more money before he would file my initial discovery. Unfortunately because of this, I missed important deadlines with the court. Soon after the deadlines were missed he sent me a change of attorney in which I was forced to represent myself in court... the worst part was he he wrote off my balance and then sold the debt to a collection agency without my knowledge. Rockpile the new owner of my debt started collection as soon as my divorce was final, leaving me with a large bill and no way to pay it.. I am now on a 20 year payment plan! Had I know this would happen I would have had it included in the final judgement. Be very cautious unless you have deep pockets...
