About

I began my legal career as a medical malpractice defense attorney, preparing many cases for trial, arbitration and appellate review. In 2003, I transferred my legal skills to a mid-size law firm in Pasadena, California, specializing in real estate and business law.  One of many legal matters that I handled included a successful multi-million dollar commercial real estate development from inception to completion.  I was also legal counsel and an advisor regarding purchases and sales of commercial, residential and industrial real estate.  In early 2007, I became a partner of a boutique law firm established in the San Marino, California area. It was not until June 2008 that I founded Jasmine Y. Kim, A Professional Law Corporation.  I believed at the time that in starting my own practice, I could be more effective in realizing my passion to help people deal with a variety of legal issues at all levels of the legal process.    I am currently active in a number of professional organizations including the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California (KABA) and Christian Legal Aid of Los Angeles (CLA-LA).  I have volunteered at pro-bono clinics hosted by Christian Legal Aid of Los Angeles (CLA-LA).
