Alec S. Osland practices law with the Rochester, Minnesota law firm of Ward & Oehler, Ltd., which was founded in 1974. Alec grew up on a farm in eastern Iowa raising livestock. Alec represents families and individuals in Southeastern Minnesota in a variety of practice areas.Mr. Osland received his Juris Doctor degree from Drake University Law School in May 2019. In addition to his J.D., he completed certificate programs in Food and Agriculture Law, Environmental and Sustainability Law, and Public Service. Alec received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa in 2016.Alec is active in professional organizations in the area and is President of the Third District Bar Association. During law school, Alec worked in Drake’s Elder Law Clinic, as well as spending a year at Iowa National Heritage Foundation. Alec was active in student organizations, serving on the Electoral Board of Drake’s Agricultural Law and Environmental Association and servicing as Vice President of his graduating class’s student government.
