My husband and I needed elder law advice and a will. We had a free initial consultation with Janice Hatton and were pleased with the information she was able to give us. I did then and do now think that she is a competent attorney, so we employed her to do our wills. In the course of our meetings she continuously related antidotes of various other cases she had handled rather than answering questions directly. One question I asked, which should have taken five minutes to answer, took 25 minutes. This greatly increased the time we spent with her and the time we were charged for our wills. While I do believe our wills are well written, do to her manner, I feel we were overcharged by at least 50%.
