About
Jamie Danielson is an attorney with Hanis Irvine Prothero. Jamie’s focus is in the areas of family law and trust and estates. In those practice areas she helps families deal with some of the most important and delicate situations they may face, such as child custody, divorce or end of life decision making. Jamie has deep roots in the Kent community and as such is involved in community organizations such as Communities in Schools of Kent and D.A.W.N.. She is also the newest city council member for the City of Kent. During each summer, and before joining Hanis Irvine Prothero PLLC, Jamie gained experience in family law while interning with Holman, Cahill, Garrett, Ives and Oliver in Seattle. While working as an intern, Jamie utilized an array of skills acquired during law school to assist clients in a variety of family law matters. Jamie graduated from the William O. Douglas Honors College at Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy. She then went on to obtain her J.D. in the fall of 2006 from the University of Oregon. While in Oregon she was the Treasurer of the family law club on campus. She also participated in the Mediation clinic on campus where she mediated cases in Lane County Small Claims Court. In her free time Jamie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, working out, and playing with her dog Bennie. She is also an avid Oregon and Seahawks football fan and a self described political junkie.
