Jamie is AMAZING! I emailed her at 11:45pm the night before my son's court date and she promptly responded the next morning. She is very honest and explained her plan of action if hired. I met with her after our phone call, her confidence and welcoming personality made me confident that she is compassionate and means business. Jamie walked in the courtroom and did exactly what we talked about! I would definitely recommend Jamie to anyone looking for an Attorney! Thank you for service and dedication to your clients!!
I utilized Jamie's services after going to court two times prior with other attorney's. Jamie is a young attorney that builds a relationship with you while going through your case. She is young and passionate about her craft and works to make sure that every detail is uncovered at the right time. Her cost was right in line for the work that she does and she is great at giving you the details and letting you know what to expect next from the case. If there is ever a need for another lawyer - she will be the first one I go to. I know that I can trust her to go through all the details and stay right on top of the case - even when the case gets delayed time after time.
Jamie Cooper is professional, intelligent, patient and kind. Jamie made it clear to me throughout the process what I can expect from parties involved in this process. She helped me get through a long and emotional protection order hearing where I had to defend my request for a protection order against an abusive ex. I grealy appreciate her support, guidance and patience. I am forever grateful.
Ms. Cooper was very understanding to my case. Understanding and listening to every word to my problem with my child father. Being a single mother is very hard dealing with cases like these. And stressful! She kept me calm through it and ask me questions that would help with the case. She was patience and it got handle perfectly!
Jamie Cooper handled my divorce with a calm, professional manner. Through a very painful process of excruciatingly slow negotiations over property settlement, she helped keep me focused on the legal parameters of the situation. Her advice was excellent!
I was going through a horrible custody battle with my son's mother. She was trying to take total control of my son, and was using the current parenting plan against me. Jamie was the help I need to get back my parental rights with my son and now I share joint custody. No one ever really wins in these type of situations, but Jamie gave me the opportunity to have my rights as a father, and for that I will be ever thankful. I would suggest her to any father seeking father rights, or anyone seeking legal council.
I was going through a difficult divorce and Ms. Cooper took her time to understand my case personally. I really felt like I was her only client! She was so responsive and made me at ease. I would recommend her to anyone needing a family lawyer!
I hired Jamie to represent me while I was going through divorce. She understood the situation and helped me through this experience. My divorce lasted for two months and every time that I had questions I had to wait for days to heard back from her. I was told that for every question I will be charged so I tried to ask 3 questions in one email. Every two weeks I was receiving the remaining credit balance that I had and when I paid to her the full 3500 of the cost of the divorce up front Jamie attested that NO other fees will be charged unless the case was going to trial. The end of the divorce was easy because she didn't have to request a trial to my ex-husband and we end up working it out very good and easy for Jamie. Days after I received the decree, I received a bill of 1300 that was due to pay within 30 days of the notice. I contacted the billing department and I was told that Jeamie had to charge more due to additional services. I explained the person that it was not the agreement from Jamie as she stated several times that ONLY additional charges would apply if the case was going to trial. Days after I received a new statement of $560, when I called back the billilng department I was told that Jamie made a mistake peviously about over charging. If I don't pay this balance in 30 days I would be sent to a collection agency. I just want to advise people if they ever want to hired Jamie Cooper or the Law Firm Johnson & Pekny need be aware that they take advantage.
I hired her to represent me in a custody dispute against my ex husband. She was very friendly and explained things thoroughly, but she is not good in this field at all. My family and friends kept insisting that I find another attorney, but I stayed hopeful. I wish I wasn't so naive at that time, but I've learned a lesson or two from her. Do research on your attorney before you hire them, and you get what you paid for.
