About

I always tell my friends and family to please refer their friends to me but that I hope they never personally have a need for my services. The reason is because I'm an accident, injury and divorce lawyer.I help people who are going through some of the worst events of their life. My clients come to me when things are bad and they need help. Sometimes it can be tough seeing the pain an accident victim is going through or the heartache of a mother or father whose spouse has just left them. But it's rewarding to know that I can have a positive affect on someones life.I'm extremely lucky and I realize that. I love what I do and I love making things better for others, and it doesn't hurt that doing this usually means that all of us become better off financially. If you've been in a truly serious car wreck or have been badly injured and just want to call someone who is going to be straight with you, give you honest opinions and treat you with integrity please give me a call. I'd be happy to spend some time to help you better understand whatever predicament you may be in.Just call me at 901-754-1340 or 1-888-GET-JAMI, or email me at [email protected] You can also visit my website at www.LawFerrell.com to read and learn more about who I am and how I can help.Sincerely,Jami Ferrell

I'm not exactly sure what to write here. My pastor recommended that I talk with Jami and I hired him to help me with my divorce after I had a chance to meet and "interview" him. He may be the best listener I've ever met! I just thought my girlfriends were good listeners until I met him, but I was sooo surprised at the time he spent listening to me before he ever even started giving me advice. I can't say how much I appreciated that. But besides the listening he also turned out to be pretty badass as a lawyer too:) I'm very happy that I was guided to him and hired him.

I spent several months deliberating over who to hire for my divorce. I didn't know who to use so I asked some of my friends and one of them who had recently gone through a divorce told me about her experience and actually recommended that I talk to her husband's attorney, Jami Ferrell. She said that she wished she had hired him instead of the attorney that she had used. I really couldn't believe that she recommended the attorney her husband used. I ended up hiring him for my divorce and he did a great job in getting me alimony and child support. I told him that I didn't want to go through an drawn out and ugly divorce and he was really understanding about this. He was great in working to get my divorce without really completely screwing up the relationship between me and my now ex-husband. And that was really important to me since we see each other a lot because of our kids. The things I liked about him were that he had a no BS approach and told me the good and bad stuff and what to expect (and not to expect), he didn't do a lot of extra stuff just to bump up my fees, and he was very honest and sincere. He also was really smart when it came to dealing with all our finances, he was pretty impressive when it came to working out all of our financial junk (it was crazy). I strongly recommend him if you have to hire a divorce lawyer.

I hired another lawyer to represent me in my divorce first before I hired Jami and had a terrible experience. The first lawyer I used was impossible to communicate with and didn't seem to really care about my case. Then I called Jami after seeing a billboard and I'm glad I did. He handled my divorce very professionally and I was really happy with how prepared he was. When we went to court the judge actually said they were impressed how well he he had everything in order. He told me what to expect to win on and what things I probably wouldn't win even if he did the best lawyering job ever and I appreciated that. Overall he was super smart, considerate and a hard-worker. I definitely endorse him.

Okay, a friend of mine had used him for her divorce. My first experience with Mr. Ferrell started with a phone call to his office when I asked a few questions about a possible divorce and some custody issues. He called me back and after talking he told me that he didn't think that I really needed him yet and that I should just save my money and come back to him later after I did a few things (that he told me to do) myself. Here are a few things to point out about the above statement: 1. This was totally opposite of what another attorney I had already met with had told me when he said that I would need him to do a ton of work and then asked for a $6,000 retainer. (By the way, does anyone really understand what they heck how retainers work? I'm still trying to figure them out.) 2. He did this for free and told me that he hoped to never hear from me again, but that he would be there if I did call. 3. He didn't try to scare me into hiring him like the other attorney did. Fast-forward nine months later and I ended up having to come back to him for advice. That's when I hired him for my divorce. This was my first marriage and first divorce, so I don't really have a lot of experience with divorce lawyers, but if all lawyers worked like Mr. Ferrell does then I don't think lawyers would have such a bad reputation. The whole experience with his office was really good. Tracey, his assistant, was a sweetheart and he was way nicer than I expected from an attorney. He knew what he was doing and didn't seem to waste my time or money. The only warning I'll give is that he is pretty busy, so sometimes it did take him until the next day to call me back. But when he did call he was always happy to spend time explaining everything to me without making me feel like I was bothering him or that I was stupid. If I ever need a divorce again (God please no!) he'll be the person I call.

When I couldn't take my husband for one more minute I decided I needed to get out of the marriage, but I wanted to be smart about how I did it. I ended up visiting three different law firms to make sure I was making the right decision on who to hire. Mr. Ferrell was the only attorney who didn't just tell me whatever they thought would get me to hire them, and the only one who didn't push me signing up with him that day. (He was actually the first lawyer I met with and recommended I meet with other lawyers just to make sure I was comfortable with whoever I ended up choosing to work with.) I'm very happy that I did pick the Ferrell Law Firm. Mr. Ferrell was extremely knowledgeable in every area of my divorce. He let me know what to expect during the hearings we had at the courthouse and during the mediation we went to. Because he was such a nice guy whenever we met I was a little concerned at first that he might not be "mean" enough, but that definitely wasn't an issue. It was great watching him tear into my husband at court. I had warned him that my husband was a smart a** but he said that would end up being to our advantage. After seeing Mr. Ferrell get him to wiggle uncomfortably and get all turned around with his lies on the witness stand I wasn't worried again whether he would be tough enough. He was pretty ferocious:) I'm just happy that I hired Mr. Ferrell. Going through a divorce definitely sucks, but I always knew what to expect and thought he worked really hard to help me. Anytime I had questions him or Tracey always called me back or emailed me. And I never felt like he was taking advantage of me or racking up his fees. If your looking for a good divorce attorney you should hire him.

I found Jamie through an internet search and really liked all of the information he provided on his website and the videos he had. I had met with a couple of other lawyers already but I didn't really like them. I decided I'd see if he was any different and called his office to schedule a meeting. There were a few things that stuck out right at first that he was different. The first thing was that he seemed like a "normal" person and didn't have some holier than though attitude. And the other thing was that he was very upfront and honest with me about the strengths and weaknesses of my case. After speaking with him I left feeling like the other two people I had met with may have been saying some stuff just to try to get me to hire them. And I actually left the meeting with a lot of useful information that I could use even if I didn't hire him. In the end I decided to use Jamie and couldn't be happier that I did. I believe that his office really cared about my situation and made sure to do everything they could to help me. I'm very happy with how my case ended up because of all the work he did to help me. Two thumbs Up!!

I went to several different divorce lawyers to try to find someone who could help me with my case which seemed pretty simple to me. I just wanted to get a divorce from my husband without having to go through a million steps and cost a ton of money. Mr. Ferrell listened to what I wanted to happen and then explained the process to me and and laid out what his plan would be to get my divorce. His plan sounded good and that's why I picked him. I'm glad I did choose him because everything happened just like he said it would and three months later I was divorced and free:) I can't say what other people's experiences are like, but I always knew what was going on in my case. He let me know what was needed to make my divorce get processed quickly, when and what he was filing with the court, sent me copies of everything, and called me back or emailed me whenever I had questions. I'm sure there are some other good divorce lawyers in town, but he's got to be one best.

I was hit from behind on the interstate which caused a herniated disc in my neck. I was in horrible pain and wasn't sure what to do. I decided to let Jami Ferrell handle my case and it was the best decision ever. A friend of mine said I should call one of the other lawyers or law firms that you see on tv all the time, but I didn't like the way they seemed when I called so I decided to talk with Jami Ferrell at the Ferrell Law Firm. It was a HUGE difference. He walked me through what to expect and gave me a ton of info, including a book he wrote about Memphis car wrecks, lawsuits and insurance settlment stuff. There is no way I could have done this on my own and I'm really, really happy with what he's done for me. If you aren't sure what to do or what lawyer to hire but want someone that talks to you like a normal person and really seems to care then call Jami - He Rocks!

Jami took my case on and less than two months later it was finalized. I appreciated his expertise and kindness in helping me through the legalities of my case. He was prompt in responding and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend his firm to anyone needing a great attorney.

Jami took my case on and less than two months later it was finalized. I appreciated his expertise and kindness in helping me through the legalities of my case. He was prompt in responding and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend his firm to anyone needing a great attorney.

Jami took my case on and less than two months later it was finalized. I appreciated his expertise and kindness in helping me through the legalities of my case. He was prompt in responding and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend his firm to anyone needing a great attorney.

Jami took my case on and less than two months later it was finalized. I appreciated his expertise and kindness in helping me through the legalities of my case. He was prompt in responding and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend his firm to anyone needing a great attorney.

I needed help when others told me I didn't have a chance. Jami took the time to really see what the problem was and came through in a HUGE way.
