Jim has provided legal representation to small businesses and rental and manufactured housing industries and other businesses since 1985. Admitted to the Bar in 1984, he is a graduate of Hastings School of Law Trial Advocacy College and Pepperdine University's Negotiations & Settlement Advocacy Program. The name Fitzsimmons has long been associated with such housing industry organizations as Western Manufactured Housing Association (WMA), where he is past president of the San Diego and the Palm Springs Chapters; California Mobilehome Park Managers Association; San Diego Apartment Association (SDCAA); San Diego Manufactured Housing Association; California Mobilehome Parkowner’s Alliance; and Orange County MHET. Jim is a regular presenter at the SDCAA’s Smart Landlord's Seminars and consultant for various cities Crime-free Multi-housing Programs.
