I was divorced several years ago, but the state in which the divorce occurred did not have jurisdiction over the child custody. On the advice of another legal team in WA I filed a paternity case in order to start proceedings in WA for the establishment of a Parenting Plan. This was NOT the correct way to start this case and added a lot of complexity and difficulty to what could have been a straightforward case. It was at that point that I was referred to Mr. Soukup.
