I hired him to handle my divorce. Although he was a bit slow at times in the beginning with answering emails and phone calls, he listened to everything I told him and read everything I wrote and prepared for him detailing my situation. At first I was not sure about him because of the slow response time initially, but during the depositions it became extremely evident how very well prepared he was and that he read and knew everything I gave him. I believe an attorney can only be as prepared as a client allows him or her to be. I told him everything about my situation and left nothing out, even embarrassing details, and left it for him to decide what was important to the case and what is not. He listened to me and what I wanted and what I didn't want. He advised me well but respected my decisions if I did not want to follow his advice and he represented me well. He was worth every penny and I would hire him again and would highly recommend him. I found him to be very ethical.
This attorney is a disgrace. He did not respond to my emails or phone calls. He said he attended a hearing on my behalf that he did not attend, then I was billed for his attendance. During my mediation he was on his computer the entire time. When I would have a question for him he would say. Tell them what you want. Then back to his computer. He wanted me to attend a deposition from opposing council without having spoken to him in more than a month. He tried to fast track my divorce even though I told him numerous times that we were not ready. We had not even done any discovery. In the end I switched to another attorney. This attorney has his own agenda. He is unethical, unresponsive and incompetent.
Once he has your retainer it's downhill from there. He ignored my calls and I paid him on time every month. He made promises to do a motion once and did not do it for 5 months. Do not hire him.
This lawyer is unorganized, of poor moral character, and does not honor the value of what the court system is intended to provide. He is not responsive and caused my case to be prolonged and failed to otherwise seek proper and reasonable resolution without spending wasted time in hearings, depositions, meetings etc. This legal practitioner in my opinion is without question a disgrace as a citizen, and a lawyer. I would advise any seeking his counsel to look elsewhere.
