About
My grandfather was a highly respected attorney here in Connecticut. He used to tell his children, "You can be anything you want, as long as you're a lawyer." What he meant was that a legal education could help someone succeed in just about any line of work. To him, a lawyer's greatest asset was the ability to recognize what he or she didn't know, coupled with a willingness to do something about it. That's a useful trait in any field. My father is an expert witness in civil and criminal cases, and I was raised on stories of both the wrongfully convicted and the excessively punished; people whose lives were ruined because of a system that didn't value their humanity highly enough to protect their rights. Some of them had lawyers who did their best to defend them, but too many were essentially left to drift alone in a complicated and scary sea.In law school, I joined the board of the Georgetown Law Innocence Project to help recruit young lawyers like myself to the cause of criminal justice reform. Now that I'm here in Connecticut, I'm looking forward to the chance to help new clients navigate the legal system, to make sure that the fundamental promise of our courts - Equal Justice Under Law - is not just an ideal for them, but a reality.I live in Manchester with my wife, Lauren, and our son, Jordan.

Jerald went above and beyond for me. He was reachable whenever I had a question or concern, regardless of the hour. He made me feel comfortable and confident in a time of total stress. He’s not only a great attorney, but also an awesome guy. I feel like he put in the effort to connect with me and made sure I was doing well both inside and outside of the case. I’d recommend him to anyone.
Jerald was instrumental in securing my AR for the alcohol related offense I received in college. Since it was such a serious case and required a lot of hard work, I was extremely grateful when I was given AR by the court. I could not be happier and I hope Jerald can help others the way he helped me.
I cannot commend Attorney Lentini enough, and I could not have gotten a better outcome. It took many months of repeated court appearances for a DUI charge but Jerald never gave up. He used every positive piece of information in the defense and was able to keep the court focused on all the facts. He was professional, respectful and empathetic. He took a seemingly hopeless situation and kept his ground with the courts. I met with another attorney at my first court appearance and was a little unsure when my case was reassigned to Jerald. However, after my first meeting and then further communications with him via email, I knew my case was in the best hands possible. I am 100 percent certain, if Jerald were not my attorney, I would not have had this outcome. I am grateful that I hired him and know that I have gotten a second chance thanks to him.
He handled my case very professionally and quickly. I would highly recommend Jerald for assistance in any matter. He will work hard for you.
Ruane Attorneys made it easy to sign-up with them during a time when we needed a Lawyer. We were introduced to a gentleman (I don't remember his name). He didn't have a card, had recently started there but had been a lawyer for quite some time. We felt heard, made us feel like there were quite a few different approaches that could be used in this case. We met with a couple of times and he was the one that was at the court house the first time. The next time we met at Ruane Attorneys, we were switched to Jerald Lentini. We sat and retold our entire story. We asked why we were being switched and were told the other lawyer was more a hard criminal lawyer. Okay? Why were we placed with him for the better part of a month if he wasn't the right fit to begin with? Jerald made it seem like we didn't have as many approaches but maybe we did maybe not? There wasn't a concrete answer. Until our actual court date where he basically told us it wouldn't be worth our time to go to trial, this would be our best approach, this is it. If we had known that from the begin, we wouldn't have hired a lawyer much less continued in the process for so long. We could have done exactly what they did on our own. It's the typical sentencing for this crime. No different then ANYONE else. We were also told that probation, we would meet with him once maybe twice, no worries. We've met once, we're meeting monthly. There is a Village thing where they meet to see where I am in life that is required by my officer. They were banging on my (old address) door without calling to schedule anything. I had to call and tell them I don't live there anymore and the new address was in the courts notes. This was all for $3500.00. Very disappointed.
