This was my first time hiring a lawyer and he did ask me if that was the case in our first or second meeting. I hired Mr. Rolle to defend my right to visit my mother against my sister's suit to restrict that right. He showed up for all court appearances but did not say one word. We had no written, signed agreement as to his fees, what he would do or anything. Without my knowledge or consent he brought another lawyer, half way through the proceedings, who spoke once, to badger a witness on the stand. Not surprisingly, I was granted restricted visiting privileges.
