About
Originally from Evanston, Wyoming, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in lighting design and lighting technology from the University of Wyoming in 2003. After working in the lighting field for several years, I relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to pursue my goal of becoming a lawyer. I attended the Phoenix School of Law where I earned my Juris Doctor degree, graduating in the top 3% of my class. While attending law school I had the privilege to serve as an intern in the Office of the Governor Jan Brewer and the Office of the Arizona Solicitor General. I also worked as an intern with the City of Mesa Economic Development Department where I assisted in the negotiation of several developments. In my final semester of law school, I became an intern at the law firm of Kimerer & Derrick, P.C. During law school, I served as a teaching assistant to the Honorable Michael Yarnell and a research assistant to the Honorable Stephen Gerst. I was the President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Chief Justice of the Honor Court, and Vice Managing Editor of the Phoenix Law Review. I also passed the State of Arizona bar exam with the highest bar score in my law school for that term, as well as one of the highest scores in the State. I was fortunate enough to be hired as an associate attorney by Kimerer & Derrick, P.C. after I licensed in November 2012. Since I began practicing, I have been involved in a wide range of criminal cases from low level misdemeanors to the highest level felonies. I am also fortunate enough to have been involved in some of the most influential criminal cases in Arizona over the past 5 years. Most of my practice is criminal defense and criminal appeals. I practice in all areas of criminal defense, but have made a name for myself in complex criminal litigation and criminal appeals. I am admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona, State of Colorado (inactive), the Federal District Court for the District of Arizona, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. I am a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. I am also a board member for the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice. I was recently named as one of the Southwest’s Rising Stars.

I’m not real good at writing but here goes. So I found myself looking at 20 years + in prison. My appointed lawyer was doing little to nothing. I was given Rhonda’s number from a friend so I decided to give her a call. ( best call I ever made ) So I talked with Rhonda and she said she could help. I had very little money. I explained to her I could give her a small down payment. She was kind enough to start on my case with that. Long story short she beat my case and all charges were dropped. I would recommend here to all my family and friends. Thank you Rhonda
I had never been in legal trouble before my incident and was looking at very serious charges. Ms. Neff immediately calmed my nerves and fought for me every step of the way. Her knowledge of the law and proceedings made my case a much smoother ride. I cannot imagine what could have happened if I had gone with someone with less attention to detail and half the fight the Ms. Neff has.
Rhonda is very knowledgable and passionate about the legal field. She got my case dismissed and always kept me informed along the way. She made the whole process painless. I would highly recommend her to anyone with legal issues or concerns.

She's a likable person but has know clue in her field of work.I paid her and she didn't fight for me. Then she had me send a paper to the courts in witch she said would help me but to find out it was to excuse her from my case.I had to hire another lawyer to help me clean up the mess she got me in. Theres a lot of shady people in this world and she's on the top 5 list SORRY RHONDA BUT YOU DID A VERY BAD JOB ON MY CASE.Now I'm stuck with it on my clean record for 13 years "My case was dismissible if you only knew what you were doing. Ive contacted multiple az lawyers after the fact and they all said she's very inexperienced. IT WAS ONLY THE METABOLITES OF THC. She got me a full blown DUI I am so unhappy with her services I'm not a mean person I've just really been burned with her misrepresentation Sorry Rhonda i just have to be honest
