James "J.D." Murdock  is an associate attorney at Taylor | Anderson, LLP, in the Denver office. He holds active licenses in Colorado and Florida, and has also litigated cases through pro hac vice admission in California, Louisiana, and Oregon.  His practice focuses on the defense of wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases including products liability, general negligence, class action and medical malpractice claims.   From 2008 to 2014, J.D. was an attorney at Wicker Smith O'Hara McCoy & Ford, P.A., in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he successfully defended complex personal injury cases including products liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death and class action lawsuits. He also served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division of the Florida Office of the Attorney General and handled 42 U.S.C. 1983 lawsuits against governmental employees, prosecuted forfeiture actions and defended the State of Florida in personal injury lawsuits and in administrative hearings. Throughout his career, J.D. has achieved excellent results representing Fortune 500 Companies, national insurance firms, healthcare organizations and governmental entities.
