About
Chan is from Rome, Georgia and earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Chan spent several years as an executive with the Boy Scouts of America in Savannah, Georgia and Montgomery, Alabama before attending law school at Faulkner University’s Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. During law school, Chan completed internships with the Columbus, Georgia District Attorney’s Office, the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, Justice Greg Shaw of the Alabama Supreme Court, and the United States Department of Justice. Chan graduated magna cum laude from Jones while earning several best paper awards, a public interest fellowship, the Dean’s Scholarship, the Walter J. Knabe Scholarship, and serving on the Faulkner Law Review. Currently, Chan’s practice consists mostly of civil litigation with a focus on personal injury lawsuits.Chan, his wife Amanda, and their daughter live in Russell County where they are active in their church and enjoy spending time with their family, friends, and animals.
