I hired James Long to handle several matters for me, over a period of several years. I don't recommend James Long. In the time he worked for me he: 1) Missed at least one court appearance, 2) Showed up in court with food on his shirt, 3) Drafted and filed documents with embarrassingly poor grammar and logic, 4) Allowed many filed actions to fall through the cracks, resulting in wasted filing fees and attorney's fees, 5) Billed me for communications related to him backing out of an appointment, and so on. Jim is awkward, fumbly, and ineffective in court, in my opinion. On balance, he's a nice guy.
