We met Jamie 9 years ago when we were looking to create a trust for our new family. He took excellent care of us, always took time to ensure we had all the info we needed and has become a good friend over the years. We know that our trust is in excellent hands, and he has assisted us with other legal matters that we have had to deal with. He is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. We highly recommend Jamie for your most important legal needs.
Jamie has done my estate planning for more than 15 years. He is very competent, cabable, thorough and professional. I used to believe that an estate plan could be completed in a fairly routine, templated approach. That's certainly how most of the advertising I hear and see presents the process. That's one of the things I was most impressed with in working with Jamie - the complexity and depth of his process. Jamie asked questions I had not contemplated about scenarios I had never imagined, scenarios that all needed to be considered in my estate plan. Jamie's process of interviewing my wife and me, educating us along the way and breaking down the complicated estate planning concepts into simple terms (even to the point of drawing illustrations of the concepts) was unique and very valuable. All of this made me feel very secure in the work Jamie did for my family and gave me peace of mind knowing that my estate plan has been finely tailored to the specific and unique requirements of my family and financial situation.
This attorney revised my 86 yo father's will after 2 other reputable attornies told my father it was unethical. Under duress, my father changed his will to favor a paid caregiver. Mr. Kallicki made the caregiver my father's medical POA, which it says right on the form that a paid care giver cannot be POA. 24 hours before my father's death, Mr. Kalicki went to my father's home and had the caregiver resign from POA, after my brother told Mr. Kalicki that what he had done was illegal. Unfortunatly, it was too late. My father was already non responsive. The care giver had taken my father to a psychologist, not an MD for a statement of his mental compentency after 2 neurologists declined to provide a statement. This caregiver recieved $60,000 from my father in his will.
