About
Joy recognizes that most clients only come see lawyers when life has thrown them a curve ball. For this reason, Joy strongly believes in listening to her clients and providing them with a safe space to process their emotions. Joy seeks to understand her client’s true priorities and resolve conflicts so that her clients are able to move forward with their lives positively.Joy understands that every family is different and is invested in ensuring that she zealously advocates for those unique needs. Joy believes in using her natural strengths of compassion and empathy to create a trusting relationship with her clients. Since family law issues are personal and difficult, Joy works hard to keep her clients involved in every step of the way and focuses on open and honest communication. Her priority is to make her clients feel like they have someone in their corner.Joy graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2013 where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. She was a member of the Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Society, a peer tutor, and on the Dean’s Honor List. After earning her undergraduate degree, Joy received a full merit scholarship to Chapman University Fowler School of Law where she graduated cum laude and in the top 6% of her class.
