My experience with attorney James C. Higgs was a very positive experience. Mr. Higgs was prepared, and very knowledgeable on the subject at hand. He accurately sited Michigan law when presenting in the court room. He was professional with opposing counsel and extremely respectful toward the judge. His court room etiquette was exceptional. After the free consult (that was nice) he said he'd write a letter on my behalf. I called and emailed weekly with questions like what was the status, etc. and they were all ignored just an occasional email back from staff stating they were understaffed. Finally after a month he sent an email suggesting I find someone else as he was too busy. I lost 6 weeks of time because it took 2 weeks to get the consult. Very disappointing. I don't understand how someone can stay in business who operates that way. I contacted Attorney Mark Pasquali who was very professional and responsive to all my communication.

Cost me a year with my kids never filed one paper right when I did all work and handed it to him gonna sue this firm and I got video proof picture whole nine he got paid by the defendant to f$$& me over and worst of all he is a pastor and I paid up front see u in court hope james hope u can explain why u r scamming as***** my kids losing hope because of u any lawyer reading this and wanna help me sue I’m contact me money is not a worry ...

This guy is a terrible lawyer! Beware: DO NOT HIRE HIM! He drew up a land contract for the sale of my business, charged me for filing a UC-1 with the state, but neglected to do it. It cost me 120,000 because he did not do his job! He is a joke.
