About
James M. DuBach has practiced law for over twenty-five years. He has extensive experience in civil litigation and federal administrative law involving Social Security Disability, as well as twelve years working as a deputy prosecuting attorney. DuBach graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, College of Law in 1982. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola, and earned his Master of Social Work degree at the University of Illinois. He is an active member in the American Association for Justice, a member in the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Represesntatives (NOSSCR), and he was named the "10 Best" Attorneys for Indiana in Client Satisfaction in the area of Personal Injury Law. I knew nothing about the long term disability process before I hired Mr. DuBach. My long term insurance cut me off and it was a terrible experience for me and my family. The insurance company harassed me and I just didn't know where to turn. After months of not knowing what to do, I found Mr. DuBach in the phone book. When we first met, he was honest about my chances- he felt it was a bad policy, but said he would do the best he could. Him and his wife, Lesley (paralegal), were so kind and kept me informed during the entire process. I hired him March 2013 and my case was just settled a few days ago. My Mom referred me to the Hankey Law Office. I have never worked with an attorney so I wasn't sure what to expect. I met with Mr. Hankey originally and Mr. Dubach represented me at the hearing. He was a FANTASTIC advocate. I won my case at the hearing level and I owe that to the Hankey Law Office and Mr. DuBach. The staff kept me informed during the appeals process.
