Protracted and expensive- a la Jarndyce and Jarndyce in Bleak House, best describes our experience with this attorney. We were but one of a multi-party lawsuit where unfortunately circumstances dictated choice of legal counsel. A ridiculous number of lawyers were billing by the hour and this DRASTICALLY reduced expected payouts- each litigant was entitled to disbursements, it was basically the amount that was disputed. We found Donnelly's tactics especially disturbing, as he seemed to have but one agenda, and that was to milk the coffers dry. Definitely did not have the clients best interests at heart. And there were (many) occasions that we felt his actions were barely this side of ethical and could have been actual misconduct. In the end, we all lost, except, of course, the lawyers. Donnelly was the worst among them, and in our opinion he is most responsible for the tragic outcome that never should have happened.
