Our Lawyer, James, was better than we ever expected. He let us know all of our choices and was not negative when we told him we we go the distance, because we didn’t do anything wrong.
I had James work with me in creating different LLCs for me and he was very responsive and attentive to the details to make sure I obtained all the protections from them. He found various details that needed to be corrected in different records throughout the process and he resolved them promptly. He also was not afraid to use the resources at his firm if there was a gap to be filled. That's service that I can really appreciate.
I have worked with multiple attorneys before and James is by far the best I have ever worked with. He is a very down to earth guy and he is the nicest guy I have every met - don't let the fool you though, he is a pit bull when it comes to the law. Which is what I wanted in an attorney. I resigned from a firm I has been with for many years. This was the hardest decision I have ever made. I knew that there could be a possible law suit coming because I had a non-compete and clients were going to leave with me, whether I breached the agreement or not. As James predicted my employer overreacted and was attempting to ruin my name in the industry as well as destroy me financially with a the threat of a very unnecessary and expensive law suit. James coached me through the preparation to leave my firm down to the resignation letter. James predicted each and every progression with stunning accuracy. At each crossroad, he provided candid, unfiltered counsel that allowed me to make a decision that was in my best interest. At no point did I ever feel pressured to go one way or another. Instead, James would lay out my options and gave me a best case and worse case scenario with each decision we had to make. We acted as a team with every decision. I knew he was in my corner the entire time. We had the option to go to file suit and if we did James could have made a bunch of money in fees but he knew that I just wanted to get back to work and move on with my life. Thanks to James, he was able to negotiate a settlement agreement that allowed me to do just that. I suggest that anyone with an issue like mine contact him. James has fluid communication, he is responsive, professional, and gets the job done for you.
Attorney Dickey is representing the UMLC in numerous litigation and advice matters. He is handling all matters efficiently, professionally and effectively and keeps me advised and informed of all developments.
