Worst lawyer I have ever dealt with in my life. He is unprofessional and uncaring. Did not follow up and made me feel completely abandoned. He was unsuccessful in my case and in one instance he lost to my ex-wife who did not even have an attorney. Horrible person run the other way and never retain him.

I hired and was officially retained by Mr. James Devita (www.devitalaw.com last year as a Family lawyer. He was extremely confident in my case at first and sent out a financial demand letter to the defendants in our case. However, once the defendants hired their own lawyer, I realize James Devita had not done the appropriate research required for my case and when he decided that my case wasn't a 'done deal monetarily speaking', he dropped me immediately. In addition, he rarely returned my calls and sometimes when he did call my number, he was confused as to whom he was calling.... this was my expereince, but before hiring him as your personal lawyer, please do your research.
