Andrew (“Andy”) W. Weisenberger joined Santen & Hughes in 2003 after earning a LL.M. in Taxation, with distinction, from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC. Since joining Santen & Hughes, Andy has concentrated his legal practice in the areas of taxation, estate planning, probate and business law. Andy uses his background in tax law to counsel clients with respect to sophisticated estate planning issues and tax planning techniques. Andy routinely assists and counsels clients who are serving in fiduciary roles over estates and trusts. Andy also has experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Ohio Department of Taxation with respect to income tax and estate tax controversy matters.Andy currently serves on the Planning Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Annual Southwestern Ohio Tax Institute and its annual basic tax seminar. Andy has been selected by his peers as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star every year since 2005.Andy is a lifelong Cincinnati resident and an alumnus of St. Xavier High School. Andy currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Film Commission and frequently speaks on various tax and estate planning topics
