Best attorney I've ever met he was my court appointed lawyer and he still worked on my case for a year and a half subpeoning evidence filing motions and eventually going to a jury trial where the plaintiffs were 5 police officers against me so needless to say it was a scary situation to be in but the truth was on my side and attorney Cawley came prepared with his a-game. The jury found me not guilty and the court officer told me it was the quickest verdict he's ever seen a jury return. Thank you jim.

He represented my husband and I found him to be quite intelligent, well spoken, and to the point. He listened to me, answered my questions straightforwardly, and showed empathy.

He was a young lawyer when he represented me. In hindsight I believe he should have advised me differently on the case. I now believe I should not have taken a plea which caused me other problems as a result, and some major inconveniences. He did file a document which allowed me to end the probation earlier than I might have. However I was not advised that as an out of stater, I would have to stay in Mass while on probation. Further after reviewing the police report for the first time in the courthouse, I was asked for an instant decision. The report in essence and in retrospect should have been a defense for the charges I faced. And the Plaintiff's witness which become my witness eventually getting a dismissal as my action should have argued and considered self -defense causing IMO the DA to drop the case.
