I went through a typical nasty Divorce. Jacqueline was referred to my by a close friend. She helped steer us through the maze and came out the other side better off than I originally thought I would. She is a fierce competitor and I knew she was the right person for the job.
I hired Jacqueline about 8 months ago. She is my third and final attorney through this crazy custody battle. She listens to me. She understands me and my situation. She calls back, herself, not her secretary, promptly and returns e mails and does not “nickel and dime” me for it. For the first time in 4 years I see actual progress and an end to the madness. Thank youuuu
Jacqueline was a fantastic lawyer to have by my side for going to court with. cant say enough good things about her. kudos
At first, I didn't know what to think. Yes, I experienced unanswered questions and calls like others mentioned. Yes, she spoke very "comfortably and informally" in a professional setting to put it mildly. Yes, sometimes her secretary, although usually very kind, would seem to speak out of frustration as if I have a law degree and should not better. For example, when you call to check on something that hasn't been addressed, like unanswered questions that needed answering right away due to an abusive relationship. Or that I had no clue what the fees were until after something was incurred (but later cleared up very quickly and nicely). However, whenever I would get frustrated and thought about hiring someone else, I had the sense that Ms. Wright might have taken on a lot of cases and is usually at the office a lot, because she truly cares. She tells it like it is because it would not do you any good to feed you what you want to hear. It would obviously get you nowhere. Possibly she's trying to save you money by answering less? Yes, in Macomb County the good ol' boy system is very much alive and well. There were times it seemed as if everyone involved in my divorce didn't cared at all about how ill I am (even though I was told that I "look good or looked as if I were not ill" which speaks to absolutely nothing about my insides). Worse yet, the representative at FOC made absolutely egregious errors like claiming that she could diagnose me just by looking at me and further claimed that I not only could work full time as a teacher where she felt it was best (totally ignoring my son's needs) but, get this- she said I could get a job teaching making $50,000 the first year! That's totally absurd unless I want to uproot my family and move to another country! And the Court order went through as such!!! Nonetheless, in the end, I feel that Ms. Wright dealt with these issues in a manner that seemed to ultimately have my best interest at heart, as well as for future clients, by using intelligent, ethical, and moral hard work to finesse around the potential political landmines having to pick from a path of choices that are the lesser of the evils without displaying any unscrupulous behavior at all. She can't change a system that doesn't care about health, religion, and a Friend of the Court that's not at all a "friend". Nevertheless, she can definitely make a positive difference in your life dealing with these issues that come along with the whole negative process!
Jacqueline is a powerhouse attorney , she has a lot of experience in family law I was in a custody battle with my divorce I went threw all the pre-trial bullshit and all that I was told by them people i didn’t stand a chance with the judge basically because I was a male , and jacqueline knew I was going have a fight but I can remember that last child investigation meeting They were tying to do a 50 50 split and Resolve it that day so I told Jacqueline Lace them up we’re going to battle She look at me and gave me a look that I would never forget and said I’m working for you we are going to trial and she did what she had to do and was very professional and she shined in the end. l would highly recommend her.
jacqueline was very attentive to my situation, she was very knowledgable regarding family law. she managed expectations and was very familiar with the business side of managing a divorce settlement. i would HIGHLY recommend her services.
