Ms. Effman was a former Rennselaer County District Attorney and former Rensselaer County Public Defender, with experience in handling both the prosecution and defense side of criminal matters. Ms. Effman handled low level crimes through all violent felonies including felony assaults and murder cases. In addition Ms. Effman worked as in house counsel handling a wide variety of personal injury related matters. She has successfully tried numerous criminal and civil cases to verdict in the state courts.
