Attorney Idelta DaSilva represented me in a restraining order case. Several times she drove to my work to discuss the case and even brought me to court. She always returned every phone call and was always courteous and patient whenever I called and answered any questions I had, setting my mind at ease. As I read the first review I was a little shocked by it because attorney DaSilva was more than capable and nothing like the reviewer described. It's unfortunate that people are able to unfairly write posts anonymously and say things that are characteristically untrue. I would definitely turn to attorney DaSilva in another matter. My name is Jennifer Resendes and you can look up my case at the New Bedford district court. It's public as opposed to the first reviewer who never posted his or her name and doesn't explain intellectually his dissatisfaction. It causes me to assume that it's someone young who is immature and doesn't have her or his act together. I would recommend her services to all my family and friends. Truthful and impressed
Attorney DaSilva represented me in a recent divorce matter. She was very reasonable with her billing and did not charge me for every phone call I placed to her, and I am satisfied with the result in my divorce. It was fair. I wasn't out to win as most people say, I just wanted what was fair.
I had recently hired attorney Dasilva on a complaint and a motification. She was not versed on the case on the court date. The things we had discussed in consultaion were completely different then what was discussed in court. She was advising the defendant to seek the lawyer of the day and asisted him in accuratelycompleting his financial statement. He received more council from her then I did. I felt uncomfortable and pressured. Implication is a matter of opinion, therfore in my opinion she was implieing that I dint want what was best for my children. For a portion of the time we were waiting for DOR she was trying to assist the defendant in getting state aid health insurance, while I provide a health insurance for my children alone at a great expense. I felt like the next ticket at the deli market. It was inpersonal. She was ready to settle before I was. I felt unheard as if what I wanted didn't matter. I felt she was trying to act as a mediator between the two of us asking what would work for the both of us. . Mediators are mandatory and provided by the court for free do not pay for one .
