Ian Pancer from the get go was forthright and honest. When I first contacted Ian he quickly reviewed my case over the phone, at no cost. He laid out my options and gave me best and worse case scenarios of what I could expect given my specific case. Ian did not make false promises and asked me take my time and reach him via his personal cell phone once I was comfortable using his legal services. After a few calls to other offices, I grew more comfortable with Ian's honesty and decided he would give me the best chances of getting the results that I was seeking. Ian made the entire process as simple and non-obstructive to my schedule as possible. Ian handled all hearings, including the DMV hearing and court appearances. I did not have to appear to any of my court dates until the final day where I signed the final plea deal. He kept me posted on all the deals that the district attorney was offering and his opinion of what these plea offers would ultimately mean to me. After a few plea deals Ian was able to get me the plea bargain that I had been seeking - zero jail time and a wet reckless. A short time later Ian called me with better news - on top of the previous plea they sweetened the deal with fewer requirements than what a wet reckless is generally issued. After the plea deal was signed. Ian informed me that he would still work on reducing my probation period after enough time had passed and after I had met the requirements of the court. I was very fortunate to have had Ian represent me in this case and I will be in communication with Ian in the near future to assist me in reducing that probation period.

I got a DUI in 2011 November, in December I decided to call a lawyer to help me with my case. I came across Ian Pancer. He was quick to say yes to helping me. He asked a few questions over the phone and said that I didn't even have to show up to court. He did all the paperwork I did not have to do anything but pay him and sign a retaining form. I was under the age of 21 at the time and all I had to do is pay the court fee and go to the DUI classes. I did not have to serve any jail time. Which was a good thing considering I was in the military and I did not want to go to jail. He was always informing me about what was going on and what was happening throughout my case. Now, two years later he helped me terminate my probation for my job situation. He did not charge me for doing that. Next he will be helping me get my DUI expunged at no charge as well. He is a very helpful person and very knowledgeable. Thank you!

After a couple of beers and a fun night out, I decided to drive home not knowing that the decision would impact my life significantly. I was pulled over and arrested for DUI after blowing .08. I thought my life was over. I was referred to Ian by a family friend and after contacting him, felt immediately at ease. He reminded me that not all was lost and he'd do everything in his power to get the result I wanted. Ian combed through the police report and discovered that the police officer (CHP) had 'copy and pasted' parts of someone else's police report into mine (apparently, just an act of laziness to save time) and then learned that my blood result was under the legal limit. With this information, Ian was able to negotiate a 'dry reckless' charge---which is Significantly better than a wet reckless and exactly the outcome I was hoping for. While I will never get another DUI (learned that lesson) I would recommend Ian to anyone! He made me feel like I was his sole client by communicating clearly and continuously and keeping me abreast of new developments. Ian is an empathetic and straight shooting attorney and I feel very lucky that he represented me. Can't say enough good things about him! Thanks, Ian!

In 2009 I was charged with a DUI and thrown in San Diego County jail. At that time I also had some outstanding warrants and was held without bail. My mother , who lives in Texas, called one of the Catholic churches she goes to in town when she visits. She asked if they could recommend a lawyer and they told her to contact the law offices of Ian Pancer. Let me tell you, I am so glad she called. As soon as she did Mr. Pancer had one of his representatives come down and assure me everything was moving smoothly and to just sit tight. Ian worked so hard for me and my family. I was released and never had to step foot in court after that. Ian did it all and truly defended me. Granted my BAL was high, and I was expecting to get the worst sentence. He really did a great job and I received the lowest possible sentence, thanks to Ian. He is completely professional and has a great demeanor. He is very easy to talk to and has nothing but your best interest in mind. If you need a great all around lawyer who is truly going to be on your side, this is your man. Thanks Ian.

Thanks Ian.

Thanks Ian.
