About
I'm a farm boy turned city lawyer. My farm backgound taught me hardwork, responsibility, and respect for others. I use these lessons in my law practice every day. I'm a graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, with honors, and Mississippi State University with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics. My legal career is focused on helping injured plaintiffs seek remedies against at-fault defendants and insurance companies. I love to learn. In my free time I frequently read non-fiction books on economics, history, law, and agriculture. I also listen to a wide range of podcasts. Please ask me for my podcast recommendations. It'll make my day. When I'm not working or reading I'm usually spending time with my wife and our two dogs. I also enjoy playing pickup basketball and other sports. I grew up in rural Danville, Alabama on a small family farm. There I developed a love for agriculture which has stuck with me throughout my life. I still have a passion for agriculture. One day I'd like to run a small hobby farm, but for now I just have a small garden and a handful of cows on my grandparents' farm. My wife shares my love for food, nature, and agriculture. We plan to have a small greenhouse, a large garden, a herd of cows, a flock of chickens, and maybe a few sheep in the near future. I'm still a farm boy at heart.
