I bring a rich financial perspective to estate planning and asset protection.  Before practicing law, I was a financial professional in Southern California.  I was responsible for analyzing the viability major international energy projects.  From that work, I transitioned into advising individuals and small businesses regarding financial and estate planning matters.  I moved to the Midwest to manage a portfolio of variable life insurance products for a life insurance company.  I then formed a small company to advise and develop software for insurance companies and financial professionals.  After moving to Contra Costa County in 1999, I sold my company, entered law school, and began mediating disputes.  After I was admitted to the bar, I continued to mediate disputes but focused my work on estate planning and administration. My wife and I live in Walnut Creek where we enjoy hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and supporting the Diablo Regional Arts Association.
