About
I primarily focus on corporate, employment, and intellectual property law, as well as artist’s rights. Previously, I worked for McMillan Metro – as an associate and Of Counsel – for several years before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area. While in California, I worked for a local firm handling corporate, employment and intellectual property matters. I am happy to rejoin the McMillan Metro team.In the past, I worked with the President of the Chicago History Museum and General Counsel of the National Endowment of the Arts in Washington D.C. on a variety of business, employment, and intellectual property issues. I also clerked for Judge Glenn T. Harrell of the Maryland Court of Appeals and Judge Richard Cudahy of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh CircuitWhile in law school, I earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property: Arts and Museum law. Through the DePaul University Technology/Intellectual Property Clinic, I had the opportunity to advise clients on copyright and trademark issues, and I continue to pursue my interests in helping artists by performing pro bono work through the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts.If you have a concern or legal issue in an area that I have experience, then please contact me. I’d be happy to assist you.
