About
I am a bankruptcy attorney in Boise, Idaho, and also a sports law attorney for the cycling industry. I also have an office in Los Angeles, California. I got into bankruptcy law because when I was growing up we lost our house to foreclosure and later we also got evicted from another house. We were on welfare off and on. Financial problems never seemed to cease when I was a kid. I have real empathy for what my clients are going through. I know first hand how scary it can be. Although my parents did not have the tools to prevent some of the hardships, I now have the tools under the Bankruptcy Code to help my clients avoid some of the outcomes I had to deal with as a kid. I got into representing cyclists and the cycling industry because I have always loved riding and racing my bike. I love watching the pro races on television. You could say I am addicted to the sport, so much so that I have been known to get up at 2:00 a.m. to watch a live European race over the internet. This is my passion.

I was recently sued by a bank for missing a payment on a credit card debt. When I was served the summons, I had no idea what to do. Frankly, I was on the verge of panic. I knew that ignoring it could be disastrous, so I did the only thing I could think of and searched for a legal representative to help guide me. Luckily, I found Holly Roark and learned that she specializes in debt collection cases like mine. She was professional, courteous, capable, and prompt. Her knowledge and expertise gave me the confidence I needed to approach my situation in a smart way. After a free consultation, I decided to hire Holly. She fought hard on my behalf, kept me informed the whole way, and quickly got the bank to settle for 30% of the outstanding debt. Holly saved me thousands of dollars. Hiring her as my attorney was simply the best choice I could have made. Whether it’s consumer debt or bankruptcy, I adamantly believe that she is the right person to help you as well. If you find yourself in the middle of a debt collection nightmare as I did, you owe it to yourself to talk to Holly Roark.
Holly was a blessing to my family and I. The entire process was so foreign and stressful and she made it almost seamless. Holly eased all of my concerns and explained everything very clearly.
Holly Roark is an amazing lawyer. She represented me in a bankruptcy that was a result of a divorce. My ex had rang up six figures of consumer debt and there was no way I could work my way back from that. I could tell that the judge liked her for her well-prepared case and factual but kind demeanor, and that ended up being hugely helpful. She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the aspects of my case, some of which I know she had to research, because it involved complicated intellectual property. In my work life I have had to deal with many lawyers, and she is one of the best. A great lawyer and a great person.
Holly represented me in a California bankruptcy case in 2010. I was scared and not sure how the whole process would work. She came to my work and helped me fill out paperwork. She walked me through the whole process and it went by pretty quickly. Holly was professional, friendly and went out of her way to make the process as painless as possible. I highly recommend her!
In 2010 Holly represented me in a bankruptcy case in Los Angeles, CA. From our first communication to the final discharge of my case she was incredibly professional, always prepared and extremely knowledgeable. Whenever I needed her advice or had a question she made herself available to me. Even many years after my case had closed, I emailed questions to her and always received an immediate and informed response. Holly walked me through the entire process and was there on the court date to represent me in person. She truly cares about her clients and wants to help them get a fresh start. I highly recommend Holly for her patience and professionalism.
Holly handled my personal bankruptcy a few years ago. I was happy as a client going bankrupt could be. Everything went smoothly and her advice was on the money -- that is, on whatever money I had left. I recommend her highly.
My wife and I were going through a very tough time. Medical bills etc. We found Holly through a friend. Holly did a great job...made things as clear and painless as possible. We were very happy with her work, attitude and of course, the solution to our situation.
I filed bankruptcy in 2010 here in the state of California. I hired Holly as my attorney. She guided me thru the whole process, was very helpful. She was very professional and courteous. I feel I made the right decision in acquiring her services.
Holly made our experience less freighting especially going through bankruptcy. She handled everything with out us being involved in all the details. We trusted her to get our paper work filed and done with really quick. Thank you!
In 2009 my real estate attorney filed a BK for me "3 Times", each time being incomplete, and basically registered but never accepted or completed. Holly was referred to me by another attorney, and she came in and rescued the day. In only a few months Holly had straightened out the entire mess created by the other attorneys, and completed my BK early in 2010. I was inexperienced, and had a lot of questions. Holly always had the time for me, and never made me feel like I was an imposition. I give Holly a 5, because she saved the day, and it was painless for me.
