About
Holly A. Aliprandi has been practicing law in Florida for over 11 years. She was born and raised in the Chicagoland area as a die hard Cubs fan. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with honors in 1999 from Western Illinois University, she decided the best way for her to help create a more equal society was to attend law school. She took a brief hiatus from school, where she continued her previous work at a home for people with developmental disabilities in Illinois. A year later, she packed up and moved to sunny Miami, where she graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2003. She spent her first two years out of law school gaining invaluable experience in a small, general practice firm, handling all areas of law, including family law, criminal law, and general civil litigation. In 2006, she went to work for Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. (LSGMI), a non-profit public interest firm providing free legal services to indigent members of the community. At LSGMI, she directed many projects that helped foster her commitment to equality and develop her knowledge of many areas law, including projects focused on the homeless population, foster youth and victims of domestic violence. She quickly became the go to person for family law issues at LSGMI and focused her practice primarily on child support issues for non-custodial parents, while also continuing to develop her skill in several other areas of law affecting her clients. She participated in the Leadership Development Institute focusing on the impediments faced by disabled non-custodial parents in the child support system, and has provided several trainings on child support issues, including child support while incarcerated and child support while receiving Social Security benefits.

Working with Holly was absolutely amazing. She is hands down one of, if not THE best attorney you can find. She helped me with a very messy and complicated custody battle that ultimately resulted in the judge ordering my kids from Florida to Colorado to be with me. Aside from the initial trial victory and everything that led up to that, Holly helped navigate requests for retrial, motions for stays of the original order, and an appeal -- all with decisions in our favor. When my ex relocated to Colorado, she also helped negotiate new child support amounts with opposing counsel. Even the guardian ad litem assigned to our case asked me where I found Holly and exclaimed, "She is a rockstar!" I couldn't agree more! One of the things I appreciated the most about working with Holly was the way she managed expectations. She doesn't blow smoke at you or get your hopes up. She was very real, upfront, and honest about the struggles and obstacles we were going to have to overcome. She is a diligent and hard worker with a legal mind like a trap. Her writing and communication skills are second to no one. My only regret is that she isn't licensed to practice law here in Colorado. Unfortunately my legal issues with my ex continue and I would hire Holly again without hesitation if I could!
Ms Aliprandi proved to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'd recommend her highly for anyone who is considering the execution of their last will and testament.
Holly is a true professional. She was my attorney for my child support issues with both of my children. She helped me immensely . I would not hesitate to use her again, she gets the job done with excellent results.
Ms. Aliprandi has represented me before in a paternity case in which I received 50/50 timesharing for my daughter. The mother of my child was represented by the State who had no resistance against the timesharing. I now have a new case regarding my son and I hired Ms. Aliprandi again. I wish I can say things went as good as the first time. The mother of my child in this case have a private attorney. I told Ms. Aliprandi I want the same result I’ve gotten in my previous case. She assured me with a smile before taking my money she can make it happen. Three months and $2400 later she walked away from my case. Prior to this, I demanded Ms. Aliprandi to tell me can she give me the 50/50 timesharing that I’m requesting. At that point she asked me to sign a form stating she can’t be my lawyer anymore. If I didn’t want to sign it she’ll set it before a judge. I was blindsided and baffled for my attorney have abandoned me and my opportunity to spend “real” time with my son in the near future. I wouldn’t hire Holly Aliprandi with my last or millionath dollar again......
