We are most grateful for the legal services Mrs. Wieland has provided our locally owned and operated business. I will continue to rely upon her support and recommend her to anyone needing assistance with employment law.
Hollie was referred to me when I was searching for a lawyer who specialized in Employment Law. She tool on my case, she listened well and provided guidance as to how to respond to my former employer. I tried to do my homework about Title VII before speaking with Hollie. She honored the little info I knew, gave me ample opportunity to speak (write) my thoughts and then took time to explain the law, including past rulings and how they informed what I could/should expect. She maintained cordial and open dialogue with my former employer and worked expeditiously to bring the negotiations to an amicable conclusion. Appreciate how Hollie remained empathetic yet firm and decisive throughout the process. She remained fact based and responsive. She acknowledged her own limitations and was open to different perspectives, humility which I greatly respect. I recommend Hollie to anyone who needs this type of representation.
Hollie is a very competent lawyer who is also caring and compassionate. She really knows her stuff and clearly cares about people. She takes the time to reach out and explain what is going on. I highly recommend her to anyone struggling with workplace harassment.
I was like many people and had no idea where to go, or who to go to, when I found myself needing an attorney. I was totally at a loss when I was terminated from my job after complaining about workplace harassment by a superior. I was under financial and emotional distress and had zero understanding of the legal process ahead of me. In my search for a lawyer, I came across Ms. Hollie Wieland. After learning about my situation, not only was she kind and compassionate, but she was also able to clearly explain what my legal rights were in layman terms. Hollie and her wonderful staff were amazing, pulled out all the stops, and were dedicated to standing up for my rights. Hollie was straight forward in telling me what to expect every step of the way. She not only won my case but helped me change the culture at my former place of employment (by requiring they implement harassment resources) so that this sort of behavior does not continue for current and future employees. I highly recommend Ms. Hollie Wieland!
I hired Hollie to help me with a boss who had a small business that was inappropriately run to the point where when I unexpectedly sustained a work-related injury, my boss fired me and told me she would not be paying unemployment OR medical bills. I'm middle aged and have never been fired. Ever. There was no basis for it except that the boss did not have workers comp insurance and did not want to pay my work-related medical bills. Hollie and her staff worked tirelessly to ensure that my medical AND attorney fees were paid in full by my boss. The boss had to pay in monthly installments, as she could not afford a lump sum. So Hollie's staff went above and beyond in monitoring the monthly payments (even when I wasn't paying attention due to being busy), and contacting me to verify that the payment cleared. I was not charged for the time it took the staff to email me regarding these payments. I HIGHLY recommend Hollie Wieland and her staff (particularly Jennifer). They are kind, understanding, timely, efficient, supportive, and professional.
The organization I was employed by dismissed me while I was on medical leave. Being new to Colorado Springs, I didn't have any legal resources available to me. I contacted my lawyer in Washington State. He recommended Hollie Wieland for her expertise in Employment Law. Hollie's knowledge of employment law, and responsibilities of employers under the law, were critical in forcing my former employer to the negotiating table. Her negotiations skills are remarkable. Her knowledge of the law and her negotiating skills resulted in a settlement that recovered all of my financial losses and recovered my professional reputation. I highly recommend Hollie Wieland for any employment matter.
I used Hollie to help with an unfair severance package. She listened, asked clarifying questions and most importantly, her and her assistant’s response times were quick. Too many times attorneys take forever to respond and do a poor job answering questions. Hollie and her staff kept me very well informed and helped me to settle in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Hollie.
Hollie was amazing through the whole process - professional, knowledgeable, affordable, responsive and very attentive to our needs. She was truly a pleasure to work with and I would start any search for legal representation with her, time and time again.. Hollie will exceed your expectations and treat you with the respect you deserve. I cannot thank her enough for her time and contributions to our legal matters. Thank you, Hollie!
Attorney Hollie Wieland provided me with timely advice and was able to advise me on alternatives with the bad news of litigation costs and how to effectively settle with my former employer on a settlement agreement. She was able to effectively guide me to making informed decisions without analysis paralysis. I recommend Hollie Wieland.
I had an emergency and called Hollie's team first thing in the morning. I was desperate to get advice and she was the first lawyer I called. I talked with her staff who were phenomenal. They were empathetic, understanding, and genuinely kind. Hollie wasn't taking appointments that day- it was the day of the week she normally spent working on cases. However, she met with me within 3 hours of my call, and sat with me for over an hour. She listened, gave me advice, and helped me resolve my issue. She and her entire staff and sincere and out of this world. It was worth every single penny and I would tell anyone to go to Hollie and her team. She met with me on a day where I was stressed, overwhelmed, and lost all hope. She and her team are the reason I was able to resolve my issue, and I can't express enough how professional, insightful, and experienced they are. I hope I never need a labor employee again, but if I do, she will be the only call I make.
