I found Holland to be very helpful and advised me on the things that I would have to provide to the office.
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know of my experience with Mrs Mcburns and Mrs. Howie. Far too often, people are eager to write letters or make a phone call to complain, but I wanted to take the time to write to let you know that I am very pleased with the performance, support, professionalism and determination of both Mrs. Mcburns and Mrs. Howie. Throughout the planning and writting of my last will and testament, they were always very quick to respond, made themselves available during times that most would consider after hours and always patient in explaining the status and details/developments of my will. Throughout this process they truly made this as smooth and comfortable as possible. Every step along the way, I was kept informed of the progress, promises were maintained, and my family and I were beyond satisfied with the end result. We could not have asked for more! I thank and commend Holland Mcburns and Alex Howie and their whole team for truly being For the People!!
This aging thing really caught up to me fast. I just recently realized how vulnerable I was with regard to my current income and assets should my health take a dive. Thank you, Holland, your advice has put me totally as ease!
From the very first interview, we felt extraordinarily comfortable. We had approached the firm about a a joint will, but within a short dialogue examining possible future scenarios, we clearly realized that we needed someone who really understood the issues and the complications that occur as we age and our circumstances, both health and financial, change. Our issues were addressed with the preparation of a document and estate plan that give great comfort to my wife and I. We feel prepared, as much as we can be, for the "last chapter" of our wonderful lives. Thank you so very much from your grateful clients, Don & Bette!
Holland has been my attorney for over a decade. She is a complete professional. She is smart, kind and completely trustworthy. She is always available and quick to get back with any of my concerns. She always has your back and best interests in mind. Highly recommend!!
My father went to Evergreen Elder Law and consulted with Holland McBurn’s and Hired her right away. He felt very comfortable with her and her staff. She set him up with his estate planning. He was a veteran and she helped him understand his rights with the VA. She explained everything in detail with total understanding. After he passed , Holland explained our next steps and walked us through the probate process. When we called with questions she got back to us in a very timely manor. I would highly recommend Holland McBurns to anyone wanting to help their parents with setting up their future.
My wife and I never expected to provide 24/7 care for our adult daughter, nor were we prepared for the innumerable administrative and legal challenges we faced as we waded through Veterans Administration, Social Security, Medicaid, medical and other legal issues in trying to provide the best of possible outcomes for her. Our emotional pain and lack of preparedness must have shown through to Holland and Jen, as they helped us tackle the most challenging and life-changing decisions we have ever faced, but they did so with understanding and compassion that is missing from so many professional relationships. We are so very thankful for their skill and capability, and they have earned our trust because of the wonderful way we were treated by them. Thank God for them... truly.
I did some research and exploration and came upon the offices of Evergreen Elder Law. From the moment I spoke with the receptionist I felt respected, valued and regarded as an important client. I made an appointment for March 20, 2018. When I presented to their offices I spoke with someone who was sympathetic for my loss, confident that their offices could help and exuded competence. I was heartened to note that they were recognized as “Client Choice “Estate Law Office” for 2016.” And my experience with their offices made me a believer. I explained the complications as I perceived them regarding the first PR; the conflict of interest as he was an employee of Wells Fargo Advisors and the person responsible for my father’s investments, part of an unpleasant personal relationship and responsible for not catching errors created in the Wells Fargo offices by incorrectly assigning the same account number on two very different accounts: IRA, individual investment. I also mentioned a potentially problematic relative/beneficiary. This did not seem to be an impediment to Evergreen Elder Law. The advice I received from Evergreen Elder Law in navigating the difficulties with Wells Fargo were in my best interest. The difficulties with the recalcitrant family member who withheld assets from the estate and refused to sign the beneficiary release was handled with the sole goal of closing the estate with the help of Evergreen Elder Care. Declaration of Completion was filed. In thirty days the estate would be permanently closed. Evergreen Elder Law provided professional, supportive, thoughtful and complete service
I live out is state and last month after coming back home for a visit, my father's health and living situation became desperate. I needed to act and didn't know where to start. I was so grateful to get a consultation with Holland within 48 hours and get results for our family! We are so grateful for her patience with us and helping educate us on WA state procedures. Not to mention her office location at the flour mill is breathtaking of the Spokane River. I have recommended Holland to my friends and family residing in Spokane who need help with their parents and their own estate planning.
Holland and her team were very helpful to me when I was dealing with the loss of a loved one. They guided me the entire way through the probate process with compassion. I would highly recommend Holland and her office to anyone needing help with probates.

Howie.
