I had hired Mr. Turner 3.5 years ago for pursuing an administrative proceedings. He was extremely professional, listened to what happened, helped me come up with a narrative (I was consumed by my experiences, I would simply say things that hurt me and couldn't connect with the panel, that could also be partly because of my cultural differences, language barrier and trauma) which helped a lot. He provided excellent services for my case and helped me say the incident to my family as he knew I needed emotional support from them while I was going through the administrative proceedings. Although I did not win my case (my institution failed to listen and understand rape culture, I hope it changes to see things for what they are), I assure that my case was well put by Mr. Turner and I strongly recommend hiring Mr. Turner.
I retained Mr. Turner for a number of legal battles involving a violation of my civil rights in various venues. Throughout the process of a closed hearing, he fought for me numerous times, above and beyond what would have been expected of him. Mr. Turner made time in his busy schedule to meet with me when I just needed some reassurance that I was doing the right thing, and never hesitated to give me his full opinion on our actions. His forthrightness allowed me to make informed decisions and I knew that I had his support. Mr. Turner was professional, smart, creative, and prompt. He shared his thoughts with me, which included his unique viewpoints on my particular issues, giving me a wide span of legal advice for every occasion. If I wanted to pursue an avenue outside of his area of expertise, he recommended lawyers for me and worked with them to learn all he could to help my case. Even if I could, I would not choose anybody but him to represent me. Not only is Mr. Turner a great lawyer, he is also an empathetic ally and a strong support system.
