My father had gifted interest in a limited partnership, which supposedly owned a real estate project he had developed, to several children over several years. After his death we discovered he had never transfered title to the project from his trust to the partnership. Ms Scholz handled the creation of an llc to own the property, organized the transfer of title and subsequent transfer of membership interest to the children, and wrote an explanation of the transaction for our use should any government or taxing body question the transactions. She then designed a system of transactions whereby we were able have my mother gift all possible interest to the children under current laws, then designed a note for the purchase of the balance of my parent's interest by the children such that no funds were paid before the death of my mother. The children ended up inheriting their note which was later cancelled. The entire process saved us a ton of money. Ms Scholz was worth every penny.
Heidi worked with me to develop some complex corporate & estate restructuring which involved multiple international entities. She is very knowledgeable and willing to be flexible on meeting client objectives. She is fairly expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. I would certainly recommend her for complex trust work.
