I hired Attorney Heather Tacconi about 3 years ago to assist me with co parenting issues that had come up between myself and my former husband. I had originally hired someone else who I felt was not guiding me or representing me well. As soon as I met with Heather I felt at ease with her. She was caring and compassionate about the matters I discussed with her. I felt she guided and represented me very well. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and a good person. I would highly recommend her.
Originaly I was looking for an Elder Advocate lawyer that would work with a client with limited funds. My mother in law had been diagnosed with cancer and was living on a fixed income. We didn't know what the future would bring but it was important to protect our mother's interest's. I actualy found Heather Tacconi on line. Heather was so sincere and caring from the beginning. She was attentive, genuinely concerned and most important she made my mother in law feel comfortable and confident. My mother in law needed to make descisions that would impact our family in a significant manner after she past. Even now, almost a year after she has past, Heather is still protecting my mother in law's interests. Heather has also assisted our family in other matters . She is a wonderful person and lawyer. We do have high standards and required a fair amount of attention.
I represented myself for 5 years and I did well, I decided to hire a lawyer in hopes to stop the harassment I endured. This was my first mistake. I was referred to Attorney Tacconi by a friend who had a great experience working with her while under another firm. This was not my experience. Now attorny Tacconi had her own. Lack of communication and blatent unresponsiveness ultimately cost me my custody case. The very case I maintained alone for 5 years. The secretary was not knowladgable enough to prioritize messages but she was "affordable" so she passed the test I guess. For medical purposes, Tacconi dropped out on my case last minute from mediation and eventually signed off to remove her representation. Unfortunatly the damage had been done. And I still havent gotten my records back.
I tried to work with attorneys Tacconi several years ago to simply file a will. She took our money but did very little. We left feeling taken advantage of amd our issue wasn't resolved.
I reached out to Heather Tacconi under the impression I was going to get help with 13+ years of cs arrears and some weight lifted off my shoulders. I couldn't of been more wrong. I'm a single mother of two children trying very hard to scrape by working 3 jobs just to be financially stable I didn't have the time to take off work to continue filing more papers regarding cases/terms I'm not familiar with. Unfortunately that's exactly what she requested I do. Never offered to help in fact I reached out to her on September 29 2016 she couldn't get me in until October 19 yet had the audacity to blame me for not coming to her sooner.
I worked with Attorney Tacconi a few years ago in my divorce and custody case. Unfortunately her paperwork was sloppy which caused a lot of confusion in my case. I had to find another attorney as her ethics in fabricating stories and lying to the judge were getting to be too much for me to handle on top of the litigations.
