H. Allen Glover, Jr. specializes in public utility law, eminent domain law, administrative law and health law. He regularly represents electric utilities and other public service companies before the Virginia State Corporation Commission and other administrative agencies.He has served two terms on the Board of Governors of the Administrative Law Section of the Virginia State Bar. Allen, with Woods Rogers since 1976, is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the categories of energy law and administrative/regulatory law. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. His law degree is from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Following law school, Allen served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Pierce Lively, formerly Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Allen provides legal counsel to a number of non-profit organizations, including The Junior League, Festival in the Park and EventZone.org.
