Harriet was very effective for me. Not only did she help in a personnel hearing. She was very good at gathering information, researching, and advising me during the process. She pointed out the ups and downs of going into a hearing. It ended up going much as she suspected. The personnel hearing resulted in a favorable outcome. I was very satisfied with Harriet's efforts and would give her "high marks" regardless of the outcome.

I was on paid administrative leave for 10 months before hiring Harriet. My situation was very complex with hundreds of documents and emails showing what had happened. Harriet was able get her head around the situation in a short amount of time. Harriet understood school budgets and school laws. Within three weeks of hiring Harriet, she wrote a 16 page letter to the district and their attorney which convinced the district that they didn’t have a case. Harriet worked tirelessly on my behalf. I would get emails from her at all hours of the night and day. she was always available to answer my questions. She ultimately brokered an agreement that allowed me to return to work. Harriet isn’t much for pleasantries or small talk. If you are looking for an attorney that is going to counsel you and make you feel good, she probably isn’t for you. If you are looking for someone who knows the law and knows how to deal with employers and their attorneys, she is a great choice. I would wholeheartedly recommend Harriet.

Harriet represented me against an employer that normally you would just walk away from and give up. She gave me hope and I believed in her. She treats her clients as if she is fighting for her own family. It has taken me sometime to say, Thank you Harriet! I'm glad I found this site. I would recommend Harriet, if you need an excellent Employment and Labor Attorney. Follow her advice.

After an initial phone call and meeting to allow me to describe the discriminatory and hostile work environment I was in, Harriet immediately contacted my employer outlining the merits of our case. Harriet very successfully negotiated a most satisfactory result. Harriet knows the law; she knows how to negotiate; and she knows what is realistically attainable. I am extremely happy with Harriet's work, and I highly recommend her.

After a few phone calls with Harriet we met in person and she took my workplace harassment and discrimination case. With a highly impacting letter to my former employer sighting many points of wrong doing and backing them up with law the point was made to them. This matter settled out of court and was timely and prompt. This was just the right amount of help I needed to feel my previous employer knew they did wrong.

I had a difficult time finding a lawyer who would take on my case for wrongful discharge / hostile work environment. Most lawyers thought it was too complex. After listening to my case, Ms. Strasberg wrote a letter to my previous employer to which the case was settled. She was prepared to represent me if I decided to decline the offer made. I was satisfied with the settlement, so it was settled quickly. I truly appreciated Ms. Strasberg's expertise in handling my case as I was getting nowhere with my previous employer on my own. She also brought up a couple of other reasons as to why it was a wrongful discharge that I was unaware of. I would highly recommend Ms. Strasberg and truly appreciated her willingness to accept my case.
