Haasty represented me a few years ago in a case which involved custody of my son. From the first conversation over the phone with I could get a sense that she was very sensitive to my situation and highly knowledgeable. She explained to me that she had read my declaration and that she would try her best to keep my son from being uprooted. She explained to me in great detail how she was planning to address the situation during court and provided insight of how the process may unfold, given my situation. During the hearing Haasty argued the fact that my son was being neglected and not being well taken care of by his mom, as a result the judge granted me full physical custody. The results of this hearing made our family and especially my son and I very happy. In addition to this, Haasty helped me navigate through the intricacies of dealing with DCSS. She was able to recover money I had previously over paid and several months of past due child support that my son’s mom refused to provide. I recently tried contacting her at her old firm to obtain legal counsel but she was no longer with them. Because she has built trust with my custody case and I know she could help, I set out to search for her online. Luckily I found her via the AVVO site and sent her a message. A few hours later she contacted me and we discussed my situation. In all, I can say that Attorney Haasty is very knowledgeable and provides outstanding legal representation. Above all, she is a great person who genuinely cares allot for her clients and the children of the clients.

Found Haasty at her initial firm she was with and she was awesome. She left that firm and I actually stuck with her and was happy with her attentiveness and compassion. My Family law case was a couple years total and a few months before I was to finally put the whole ordeal behind me, she literally disappeared. The only word I got from her new firm was that she was not available for my case and assigned me to another attorney I knew nothing about. A year and a half of hard work and trust tossed aside with not even an email from Haasty saying...well something at least. If it were just me involved that’s one thing but everything was and still is about my daughter and that’s the worst part. No explanation, we never had any slight hint of an argument, she had my total trust and vanished. Clearly she has come back into the google searches and good for her. But to anyone who might be thinking about retaining her, just keep it in the back of your mind to expect the unexpected from her.
