Lisa’s practice focuses on all aspects of Trust and Estate litigation and administration. Prior to starting her own firm Lisa was Of Counsel at Sacks, Glazier, Franklin & Lodise LLP. During Lisa’s seven-year tenure at SGF&L, she practiced exclusively in the area of trust, estate, and conservatorship litigation. Before joining SGF&L, Lisa was a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges, LLP, where her practice included complex commercial litigation, securities, entertainment law, white collar crime and enforcement of intellectual property rights in patent and copyright cases. While at Quinn Emanuel, Lisa also provided pro bono representation in an interstate adoption benefits dispute, securing benefits for her clients who had previously been denied benefits by two States. Lisa brings her past experience as a trial lawyer to her trust and estate litigation practice. Lisa has spoken on Estate Accounting and Discharging Fiduciary Responsibility for the Continuing Education of the Bar and co-wrote “Surviving Trial Crunch Time” with Benny Roshan, which was published in The Recorder on February 15, 2013. She is on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Trust and Estates Committee; she is the Chair of the Solo & Small Firm Practice Group for the Women Lawyer's Association of Los Angeles; she is a former Regional Editor for the American Bar Association’s Trust and Estate Litigation Section; and a has volunteered with the Bet Tzedek Self Help Conservatorship Clinic. Lisa has also been selected by Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star in the field of Estate and Trust Litigation every year since 2013 and in 2016 was named Up-and-Coming 50 Women in Southern California.
