Greg Wrenn is a veteran Silicon Valley general counsel. He has over 25 years of legal experience, including 20 years of in-house practice, ten of which was spent serving as General Counsel and Secretary for publicly traded companies in the software and Internet services areas. His philosophy of providing legal services is that of the Sherpa: bringing specialized knowledge and skill as a guide in order to help the team achieve their mission. Greg has empathy, creativity, practicality, expertise, experience, responsiveness, efficiency, and a sincere desire to help business executives reach their goals.Greg was born and raised in Washington State, where he joined Perkins Coie in Seattle as an associate in 1990 serving in the Trade Regulation and Intellectual Property group. In 1995 he joined Adobe Systems as in-house counsel following its acquisition of Aldus in Seattle. In 1999 Greg and his family moved to California where he joined Yahoo! and served as Deputy General Counsel, International, overseeing the growing company’s international legal matters. In 2004 he became General Counsel for Openwave Systems, then a leader in technology for mobile internet communications, and in late 2006 Greg joined Borland Software where he served as General Counsel until 2009 when it was acquired by MicroFocus. Greg then became General Counsel for Support.com, a leading developer of SaaS systems and services providing remote technical support programs for major national brands. In 2015 Greg joined Paradigm Counsel to open its Seattle office and help bring the firm’s broad range of capabilities to clients in the Pacific Northwest.
