I was in the process of being foreclosed on. Mr. Van Cleave got on the phone and talked to the Bank when I came in. He set me up with a meeting in front of the Judge and I had 3 months to get all of this resolved. He saved my house.
Greg was wonderful, he listened, he let me cry, he reviewed my paper work that I had accumulated. He prepared a plan of action for my defense, he followed through, and got it settled in one court visit!! When I first met Greg, he was referred to me through a friend, I went to his office, he was very presentable, he was dressed in a Tangerine Ralph Lauren Polo Shirt, & RL Slacks. When I met him at the court house he was dresses in a fashionable suite, In court he handled a situation that could have become extremely volatile had he not kept calm and and still making his argument to the court and other beneficiaries..It was a fantastic experience!!! -
I came to Mr. Van Cleave with a big problem involving the title to my property. I had made the mistake of selling my property with a contract for deed. This became a huge headache for me. They wanted my house fro free. Mr. Van Cleave knew the ins and outs of the law and got me my property back. This happened in a matter of weeks. These people were blowing me off for months.
Lazy. Does not respond to phone calls or e-mails. Comes up with excuses. Has "lost" his notes regarding our lawsuit. Does not follow-up as he says. Is not thorough nor does he have a sense of urgency. Have filed a grievance with the Texas State Bar, but grievance was dismissed. Plan to appeal. He is not pro-active in any sense. We have to keep on him for status updates. I've sent numerous e-mails streams documenting events, but there is little reaction from him to get things moving faster. He tells me I'm a type "A" personality and he's a type "B".
This lawyer took my money did not do what he was supposed to do. embarrassed me in front of the other attorney he does not look sharp he is sloppy and soiled. Has a disgusting office a messy desk and quite frankly he should not be practicing law in any state! I do not recommend him at all. He Will keep your money and never return your calls and hope that you go away.
