Mr. Starr is an attorney (I used his expertise in family court and commercial business) who has many years of legal expertise and I was very satisfied with the outcome of his services provided.
Long story. In 2017 I hired Attorney Starr to represent me in a case against my ex-husband because he was not paying for my son dorms contrary to what was stipulated on the MSA. I mentioned SEVERAL times to Starr that I wanted my ex to pay for the legal costs. When we went to court he submitted the documents saying that legal costs were going to be discussed "At at a later date". The judge ruled that my ex had to pay for my son dorms, but legal costs were going to be discussed in another hearing which I refused afraid of having to pay another $12,000 in legal costs and the result on my favor was not guaranteed. Additionally that day in court the MSA was modified saying that my ex was not entitled to pay for the dorms if he did not make at least $200,000. (I was making a lot less than that...) . I remember saying $100,000. My ex was lay off from his job and his new income was $168,00 which excused him for the dorms payment. The result of this deal: I ended paying the legal costs of more than $12,000, I had to pay for my son's dorms ($10,000) and TOMORROW I'm sending a check for $1,500 to pay for my ex legal costs just to get out of this nightmare. Don't you agree this is the worst deal somebody can have?
