About
I've practiced family law in Dane County and surrounding counties the past thirty years. My practice includes representing clients in actions for divorce, annulment, legal separation, custody, child support, maintenance, property division, physical placement, visitation, paternity and revisions of judgments. I've had the honor of arguing cases before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. It is challenging yet satisfying work. In my personal life I enjoy listening to and playing music. I play guitar and harp daily and fancy myself an above average vocalist. I spend a considerable amount of time gardening and landscaping at home along with my wife of 38 years, most of them happy. I enjoy reading, biking, a good fish fry and am a big fan of all Wisconsin professional and University of Wisconsin-Madison sports.

I believe I had one of the more contentious divorces for Greg's firm and I can attest to his above and beyond stance. He spent many a long hour into the night emailing or talking with me on the phone to ease my anxiety from all that was being thrown at me by a very vengeful Ex. The Divorce lasted a very long time with numerous calls back to court by the Ex for years after. Greg stood firmly beside me and protected me, esp. when leaving the court...as I had a retraining order and my Ex was very volatile. I Highly Recommend Greg and his firm. They helped me more than I could have ever imagined I would need.
Greg has been supportive, organized, and professional in helping me decide how to pursue my divorce case. The folks in his office are also helpful and professional.
He’s a 9-5 er lawyer who has is assistant do the work. Never did much but watch the clock spin for payment. Don’t waste your time or money.
I guess I would recommend him if you need an "9-5" case resolved. Nothing "time of the essence" or out of the "normal" realm. He was very nice, and his staff, usually. But when I retained him, I stressed an "urgent" situation and he took 2 weeks to even "look" at my case. Consistently forgot our conversations and double billed for them, lost my paperwork, got angry with me when I stressed, as I did when he was retained, what I wanted accomplished, and it never was. He Recommended a friend of his as an accountant, and neither of them accomplished anything working together as they were supposed to, in fact, they forgot that they were even supposed to be working together (2 months later), (while it was a money "coming in" easily, and never was accomplished) and seemed to me to be practicing "multiple representation" between my EX husband and I (but I was the one who was paying while my ex had no attorney), and was denied to be able to hear what my ex was saying to him. Just disappointment after disappointment and frustration after frustration. This is my 1st review EVER so that says something I believe. His original game talk didn't follow the game plan......or even come close. Sorry.

Sorry.
