After paying the retainer I was basically discarded. I hired this attorney to represent me in a small claims, civil case in which I was the plaintiff. After months and months of ignored phone calls and emails, he rescheduled the court date in the middle of my vacation without consulting me and with no explanation as to why. One email I sent was answered by his wife who was so inebriated that it was unintelligible. I was confused as to what the email even was and was told by his secretary that she had indeed sent the email and then promptly passed out. After cutting my vacation short to appear before the judge, the defendant didn't even show up. So all he needed to do was a quick recap of the facts for the record and I would be awarded a judgement by default. He was so ill prepared though, that he somehow managed to screw even that up. He literally lost my case when there wasn't even anyone there for the defense.

I hated to give him as much as a 1 star but that's the lowest available. I hired this Lawyer b/c he's in my hometown. I needed my Will updated. He charged me $750 which is highway robbery. With a name like Swindle, I should have been smarter than to hire him. Would not recommend him to anybody. He should be disbarred. Stay away.
